TECHNICAL LEAD
Mike has unapparelled knowledge and experience of automated trading systems. He played a key role in the design and implementation of LIFFE’s first automated trading platform in the 1980s and the CONNECT platform that fully automated the Exchange in 2000. Mike subsequently founded an algorithmic trading company.
He has been responsible for the design and implementation of a number of successful systems, including a short term interest rate product that regularly traded in excess of 1 million contracts per year. He has experience of managing large teams, but is happiest managing smaller groups that have a shared vision of success.

Nick has a BSc Hons in Economics from the University of Nottingham. He performs a dual role, as both the lead Business Analyst and as a Data Analyst. Nick is also an experienced Python programmer having developed a number of analyst tools as well as some of the peripheral Zen programmes.

Joss has 30+ years working with IT systems ranging between hard and software, mostly the latter, and 10+ years working as a management consultant with small businesses. He has degree qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and post-grad qualifications in Software design.
For the last 25 years, Joss has worked in the London finance industry with a capital markets project (writing C++ code) and the setting up and running the Application Support teams and other IT operations management positions for LIFFE. For the last 10 years Joss has worked developing automated trading applications for the derivative markets.

Sherif is an engineer by education and a passionate software developer with over 20 years of experience in designing and delivering high-quality software solutions. His skills include, coding trading bots, developing backend systems, implementing automation processes and establishing cloud infrastructure to support advanced trading operations.
With a strong foundation in software development, systems architecture and problem-solving, he excels at translating complex challenges into scalable, high-performing solutions. He is driven by a passion for innovation and optimisation.
